The Ministry of Health and Social Security announced today an extension of the age groups for organised breast and colorectal cancer screening programmes. The aim of this decision is to step up prevention and improve treatment for these diseases.

The European Parliament and Council Directive 2021/1883 of 20 October 2021 on the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals for the purposes of highly qualified employment was transposed by the Act of 4 June 2024 amending the amended Act of 29 August 2008 on the free movement of persons and immigration. This law came into force today.
